 Robotic Technology is now showing its mechanical face into the world of medicing, this offers high precision and control to high grade doctors and surgeons. Some procedures include; Gallbladder surgery, heartburn, and Gastroesophageal reflux correction and endoscope positioning.
With improvements being made in robotics and telecommunications, robotic surgery can aim even be performed at a distance of the patient. This allows surgeons to perform surgery in differents cities and even other countries far from the patient.
Because robotic surgery would allow for operations needing only small incisions on the patient's body, the rate of patients' recovery would be accelerated.

Da Vinci Surgical System
The Da Vinci sugical system is an operating robot which enables the surgeon to see the sugical site in a clearer detail which the human eye cannot allow. The Da Vinci surgical system was approved for operating on July 11, 2000 by the US food and drug Administration.
